Successful general meeting

| FiT News

On October 8, this year's general meeting took place at the Bantleon Forum in Ulm. Many members took the opportunity to learn firsthand about the association's current developments, activities, and future plans.

The sentiment survey has become a regular feature of the general membership meeting. It provides the FiT with valuable insights into the industry’s current challenges and issues and helps identify areas requiring action and develop appropriate measures.

The detailed report from the technical committees once again highlighted what sets the FiT apart: Over 50 experts are actively involved in the technical committees and work together to produce valuable results for industrial parts cleaning. The executive office and the board of directors also reported on their work and current developments. The members approved the 2025 annual financial statements, granted discharge to the Board of Directors, and approved the plan for 2027.

An important milestone for the association’s future is the approved amendment to the bylaws. Once this amendment is registered, members from outside the DACH region will also be eligible for membership. This lays an important foundation for further advancing the FiT’s planned internationalization.

Finally, the date for the next general meeting was announced: On October 8, 2027, the FiT will meet from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Parkhotel Stuttgart.

In addition to the technical and organizational topics, there was also plenty of time for personal interaction: A group tour of the city offered interesting insights into Ulm’s history and, together with the cozy get-together that followed, provided a successful conclusion to the general meeting.
