Attendees took full advantage of the breaks to engage in personal discussions with the 20 exhibitors and industry experts on site. In particular, the two new products, which were presented for the first time at the conference, generated a great deal of interest. One of these was the FluoSpection Qube from Sita Messtechnik GmbH, a new development in the field of imaging fluorescence measurement technology for area-wide and spatially resolved inspection of film cleanliness. This innovation won second place in the FiT2clean Award competition.
The second new product was presented by RJL Micro & Analytic. With the latest revision of VDA 19.1, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with elemental analysis was defined as the standard method for analyzing residual contamination particles. For this application, RJL offers a powerful solution in the form of the ParticleX from Thermo Fisher Scientific. The system not only enables a reliable assessment of the risk potential of individual particles but also helps identify their origin. This allows sources of contamination to be pinpointed, enabling the implementation of appropriate measures for process optimization.
Another highlight was the presentation of the 5th FiTclean Award, which took place with the participation of the conference attendees.
- 1st Place: SLCR Lasertechnik GmbH with the Lama System for laser cleaning of bulk materials
- 2nd Place: Sita Messtechnik GmbH with the FluoSpection Qube, a new development in the field of imaging fluorescence measurement technology for area-wide and spatially resolved inspection of film cleanliness
- 3rd Place: Elma Schmidbauer GmbH with the innovative Elmasens Cavicheck measurement solution for the reliable detection of ultrasonic cavitation noise levels.
